Erin Grace Trieb

Erin Grace Trieb earned a bachelor’s of science in photography from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2004, and began her career photographing in Israel and the Palestinian territories and freelancing for newspapers in Texas. Since 2007 she has worked professionally as a freelance photojournalist and an editorial and documentary photographer.

Based in Istanbul, Turkey, Trieb works for a variety of clients including The New York Times, ESPN Magazine, Rolling Stone, NBCnews.com, Newsweek, TIME Magazine and Harper’s. Her work has received international recognition and awards from World Press Photo, Pictures Of The Year International, The Art Director’s Club, American Photography, The Magenta Foundation and the FotoVisura Foundation. In 2011 she founded The Homecoming Project – an awareness campaign highlighting the effects of trauma from war on the U.S. military – which has been shown in over 50 exhibition platforms worldwide. In 2014, at age 32, Trieb received the distinguished Alumni Award from her alma mater.
